The Worldwide Marriage Encounter ‘Weekend’ we (Rene and JoAnn) experienced was in November of 1976, and it was a life changing weekend, teaching us a new way of communication that has provided us a greater level of closeness in all aspects of our lives together, that continues to have positive effects even through today.
I, Fr. Dennis, attended my Worldwide Marriage Encounter ‘weekend’ in January of l977. It was one of the most powerful and life changing experiences for me. I received a deeper appreciation of my priestly spirituality, and I saw the Church in a new way. When couples and priests work together in all aspects of parish life, great things happen. Because the ‘weekend’ was so powerful for me personally, I have remained very active in the Worldwide Marriage Encounter Movement, and its activities, for all of these past 31 years.
As you will note from researching this site and its links, there are many ‘weekends’ being presented throughout Section 7 during the year, and we would hope one of them would match your time availability.
